I keep being surprised by how many people choose books that I've never even heard of. And they're some of their absolute favourites. I think that's so fun, and why I'm glad I did this tag. I'm so glad you did it too, Sonya! This was fantastic. You sold me on How to Be Safe with the phrase "performative grieving." That's fascinating. You finally sold me on The Underworld. I've owned that book for years and haven't read it. I might have to take you up on a buddy read :) And yay for Carol Shields!

I ADORE Mary Gaitskill and loved The Stone Diaries too and those are the only two I've read out of this list! I think I should read the others as we often have similar tastes. Xx
