Thank you so much, I am a gamer and my dad got me this for studies because we don’t really have the money for a regular pc, so thank you for showing me what it is capable of.

I think it'd be cool if you guys added another stick of RAM to these types of PC's. Having dual channel would greatly increase the performance of that Vega 3 igp.

You always have the opportunity to use an external GPU if you can get a cheap low end graphics card it'll increase your options too

I received an unbranded AM02 last year for evaluation. It has no logo on the top, there's no mention of Kamrui and the packaging was different. Other than that it's exactly the same, and it does list AM02 as the model on the bottom cover. Though it came with Windows 10 2004 installed, it didn't have a product key, but I somewhat expected this. Luckily, I had one for Pro to use, so it was no biggie.

After setup I installed Steam and Half Life 2 and its expansions. They played perfectly. It really does work surprisingly well for older games. I ended up buying and installing 16GB 2400MHz RAM (2 x 8GB) and a 500GB XPG SX820 NVMe SSD, which made the unit even better. And though I do have a home built Ryzen 5 3400G based desktop, the AM02 has now become my go to Windows machine, as I now mainly use an M1 Mac Mini. I still have to use a Windows machine for a few things, including printing (no Brother HL 2040 printer driver for the M1 Mini), and the AM02 is much easier to switch over to, and much better space wise.

This AM02 really is a great machine for basic, every day tasks, and a little non graphics intense gaming. I've since gotten Portal, Portal 2 and System Shock 2 through Steam and they also play very well. Again, they aren't graphics intensive games, but they're still fun, and the AM02 handles them easily. I've also since upgraded to Windows 11 Pro (clean install), which it fully supports, and it actually seems to now run even better than with Windows 10, though in reality that could just be Windows 11 looking cleaner overall. Whatever the case, W11 runs very well on it. The unit's WiFi is also solid. My router is in the next room, and through a wall the 5GHz WiFi connection is still very strong. One last thing I really like is the fact that the enclosure is made of metal, not plastic. The top and bottom covers are plastic, but not the enclosure. It feels and looks very well made.

All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the AM02 to those looking for a relatively inexpensive Windows PC for everyday tasks and a little light gaming.

For something at this price point I actually wonder how well it would stream video. Just watching movies would be great with something this small. I would love to use a pc for movies rather than a roku or firestick

The Kamrui AM02 is now available with a Ryzen 3750h. I have a Kamrui AM02, Ryzen 3750h, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD paired with a DualShock 4 running holoiso.

I picked up one of these recently for a ton and I am very happy with it. I ditched the single 8GB stick for 2 x 4GB sticks and all the games I play run well (CSGO and QL mainly). I am running Ubuntu 23.04 and it is very nippy for a dual core four thread CPU.

Yall should add a stick of ram to every pc that comes with single channel ram. Single channel vs Dual channel comparison.

The Passmark score of the 300U is 4006 but the very weakest part is the integrated Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx with a Passmark score of 1457...terrible.

Seeing apu's at that price should start to push those Celeron ones, that barely run any kind of 3d gaming.

it says that the ram is dual channel but it's only 1 stick???

Really curious about these kind of PC's and how they handle League of Legends because that's all i care about playing and have no money for a PC as of now, so if you could put that game in cheap gaming specs I would love it thanks guys.
