I am a white man. I work in Nigeria as a doctor. A pretty girl I think 5 years old asked me:why are you white. I was surprised 😮. I think quickly. I knelt down. God painted me white and he painted you black. But not important the blood of all of us is red. And did anybody say before that you were very pretty, nice, beautiful, cute and smart girl.
And I told her:my teacher Mr. Fethullah Gulen told me: we are colourblind. I liked this word a lot and I loved him a lot.

Not only racism but feeling absolutely entitled and above the law a total disrespect of others rights.

I am a 63 y.o. Black woman. I still remember what it felt like at age 17, to be taken in the back of a department store, and have all my pockets emptied and searched. Simply because I put my school ID into my pocket, which I gladly showed to the store detective. My cheeks still burn when I think about it. The looks of everyone, as I was led to the back room.

As a black woman of color I refuse to even go into a story that wants my bag. I wouldn't even give them the opportunity to do me like this...

It's really sickening to see someone being treated like that and it's happening at this very moment every one is worthy of love respect and dignity.

We all are humans no matter what type of colour, looks, nationality or religion you have, what matters is your mindset and your awareness.

The janitor story, I met a cab driver. He's from the middle east. He speaks 5 languages has 2 or 3 degrees in engineer. We talked politics. Never judge a book by its cover. I couldn't watch the first story. To many of those stories happens all the time.

I love this video. I watch it over and over. Miss Hudson handles this with a lot mire grace and honor than I would have. I love that actress. She's always so dignified 😊

Imagine being so conditioned to this type of behavior that when it happens to you, you don't really get that upset because it's considered "normal"? That was me when I was a kid going to the movies with my fathers' family. My father drove down a neighborhood street and I remember seeing a a white family sitting on the porch of their home. There were about 7 of them and I noticed them looking at my father's vehicle as it passed with peculiar looks on their respective faces. I didn't think much of it, but 15 minutes into the movie (Godzilla vs Megalon no less) a theater employee accompanied by 2 county police officers approached our seats and engaged my father in conversation. They told him I needed to accompany them because I was identified by a family who was burglarized by several black males, one of whom looked like me! They said they needed the family to confirm my identity. My father was incensed, but said we'd comply. When we tried to leave, they stopped my father and said I had to accompany them alone, but they changed up when my father questioned why he could not come with his son, who was a minor. We were put into a patrol car and driven down the same street as before. They literally stopped in front of the family's house and treated me like I was part of a police lineup, which I suddenly realized, I was! I was fortunate that day because they either said they weren't sure it was me or they definitively told the officers it wasn't me. Those officers conveyed that to my father, who replied, "I know. I can tell you I know because my son is 11 years old, but he was a baby the last time I saw him. His mother and I agreed he would spend this summer with me to get to know this side of his family. He's been with my wife and family for 3 days and doesn't even live in this state!" The remainder of the ride back to the theater was silent with not so much as an apology. Fighting stereotypes matters, and it costs absolutely nothing to treat people with fairness, dignity, and kindness. And finally, a little common sense goes a long way. Apologies for the long post.

The first video of this compilation was even better the second time. All the actors in this are excellent and very familiar faces. The real treat is seeing Istan play the police officer and he was great in this role. Thank you for bringing this out of your vault!
