Hello WorshipMob fam,
I just wanted to share two little testimonies of how God has been doing great things and your music has been ministering to me this year.
Early on this year, I had finally gotten a place at the University God had put in my heart. It being overseas, quite renowned and expensive (at least to what we could afford) I really could not hope to go there without funding of some sort. So during the offer acceptance window I would often worry and be nervous about what would happen if I didn't get a place as I had decided to put my faith completely into it and apply only to that university. I got a scholarship and by God's grace I was able to pay the acceptance deposit. During the wait there were so many times we were faced by mountains, especially in the funding arena, and though these mountains would always stare down at us, God always made sure help and funding was found to see me through and by His grace, though it was initially very iffy God still saw us through and I started at the university in September, though online due to the pandemic and all. Your songs like "In Your Time", "Made New", "All Creation", "Have It All" and many others always seemed to come out right at the right time. It is like God was speaking to me in my bouts of fear, anxiety and worry through your music. Reassuring me and reminding me He is still working on it and to hold on, have faith, abide and keep drawing closer to Him. 😭
The second one is still very fresh - as in it was literally just concluded a less than an hour ago - I had finally organised for a flight to go to the university so I could learn in person and I got news, due to the new variant being found in South Africa were I currently live, that my flight had been cancelled by the airline and many major airlines pulling out from having flights from South Africa. Mind you, this was yesterday and my flight was for Tuesday. I was disappointed, but I trusted God's will, though I had perhaps been too quick to surmise it was God telling me to wait. However, songs like "Bride of Christ", "Holy Spirit You Are Here", and "Let Your Fire Fall" really ministered to me. Reminding me God is here, and His Spirit will see me through. That I was not forsaken, and God had not necessarily said I should stop trying. We actually had a family friend who is a Pastor come over, and he showed us verses like Matthew 17:20 and Luke 17:6 that spoke of faith like a mustard seed and using our God-given authority as Christians to speak to situations and mountains that they may move so we can walk and do God's will. As of this morning, I got a place on another flight on the same day and with similar duration meaning I do not lose the money put into booking quarantine hotels and accommodation upon arriving.
Thank you so much for letting God speak through you! Thank you for shining your God given light! Thank you! I really really do appreciate you WorshipMob fam as you have ministered to me in so many ways. Every song has spoken to me in one way or another, even those I didn't mention (hahah I could write a book if I were to got through all of them). May God bless you abundantly! 😭😭🤍
