What do you do when you have faith but it doesn't feel like it's enough? Does God truly honor faith the size of a mustard seed, even if it's coming from a skeptic who's not quite sure if Christianity is true? In this brief exchange, Frank offers some encouragement and lays out the message of the Gospel to a humble college student who was raised as a Christian but now struggles with doubt.

If we had 100% certainty, we wouldn't need faith. Everyone exercises faith in some way or other. Faith - any kind of faith - must have an object. The issue this young man raised deserves some additional explanation, though Frank did a great job.

When the pastor asks the audience during the invitation, "If you're not 100% certain that you're going to heaven when you die, then you need to trust IN Jesus to be saved." What the pastor is is attempting to do is to parse out what the person is trusting in for his salvation. Trusting in good works, church membership, holy communion, baptism, and other things almost always leaves a person in doubt. However, once the gospel is made clear, as Frank did here in this video, then a person who comes to the knowledge that his works, etc. can never save him - but he can choose the way that God has provided through Jesus' death on the cross. When he does, that simple act of faith results in the Holy Spirit coming into his life, and then, according to Romans 8:16 "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. (See also 1 John 5:8-10). This is as close to 100% certainty that we can get - and it beats anything else - the Bible gives us that assurance.

Romans 5:1 (AMP)
“Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).”

You have to have that willingness to take that step of faith, just like with anything you do in life. You gotta want it.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life

Did our beautiful Dr T just say he's not an emotional person? There's enough video proof on this channel that shows his tender compassionate heart.

The barrier from "belief that" to "belief in" is the self. For many, maybe most people, "self" does not want God. Why? One can choose self as the greatest good or choose God as the greatest good. Many people, even very nice people, will not let go of the autonomy of self.

When atheists see the utter hopelessness of life and science and the way the world is- we ask and plead with them to be saved.

'Believe That' is Theory. 'Believe In' is Practical. We need the theoretical knowledge, the facts, the information so that we can take an action or make a decision which is practical application of theory. Faith in Action is Alive, without action, faith is Dead. So if you have faith like a mustard seed, plant it. Don't let that seed remain in your hand or lying on a desk because then that faith (seed which has potential to become a huge tree) will remain inactive producing zero results which in turn brings disappointment. Faith is Powerful enough to Move Mountains.

I struggled with doubt for decades but kept searching for answers, does The Bible conflict with science, is it illogical, why is eternity in Hell appropriate, are there contradictions, etc...? I've found satisfactory answers for all my doubts and concluded, nothing makes sense if The Bible isn't The Word of Our Creator. I now think my doubts were largely due to my resistance to repent. I have no doubt in my "belief that." Repentance remains the only struggle to believe in.

Movies, music and religion only stir emotions, they don't regenerate a sinful heart, only the Holy Spirit can do that. Movies don't enhance my faith but my favorite Jesus movie is " Risen".

It reminds of the day I came home from church feeling so in touch with God that I wasn't paying attention, cut a corner too hard and side swiped the garage with the car. Feelings don't stop a person from messing up.

The faith of Jesus the size of a mustard seed can cast a mountain into the sea.
God gives faith upon and unto everyone who believes receiving.
Whether great or small faith is sufficient for the day at hand pressed against the back drop of eternity.
Faith comes by hearing Gods word. Faith trusts the integrity of God.
We're saved by grace through faith not by works (unto good works)
Lest any man boast

Faith the size of a mustard seed doesn’t mean a little faith mixed with a ton of doubt.
Doubt cancels Faith.
Mustard seed faith says that God does not have to check all my boxes.
He doesn’t have to make 100% sense to me.
Faith says “I will trust Him!” Period! Even if I look like a fool!

“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.”
Matthew 16:25

Jesus never ruined anyone’s life EVER.

Humans ruin their lives everyday.

To doubt Jesus is to trust something else.

So it’s basically a matter of what you believe in and why you trust it.

A mustard seeds worth of faith in Christ sounds like this…..

Lord I don’t know you. I don’t know how to know you. I need you to make yourself known to me personally.

Then as you move through life, consider The Lord in your thoughts.
Don’t blow Him off and consider Him a non starter.
That’s called having no faith.
Or faith in the wrong thing.
Leave room for God to move and He will show up.
“THOSE THAT SEEK ME
FIND ME!”

Faith and logic, are 2 things that every Christian, deals with their whole lives…if you say “I always believe, and never question” you’re either perfect, or a liar. That’s the beauty of God, and walking with Christ. He lets you be human. 😎✝️
