Not finishing books is a big one for me. I haven't quite perfected the skill of admitting I'm not enjoying a book and ditching it, but I have gotten pretty good at saying "Well I'm never reading that again." and tossing it (thank you libraries for making that easier)

I have a friend complaining about a book he’s listening to and I told him to just DNF it. No, he’s gotta get his “moneys worth” on the book he got specifically because it was on sale anyway. Like my guy, your sanity and time should be worth more than $8

Oooooh, snap. Was the book Tomorrow Tomorrow and Tomorrow? Because they bothered the crap outta me too. I still read it and enjoyed it a lot, but that dynamic was just so gross, and I never really felt like it was sufficiently addressed.
