Clear the data.

The progress bar is counter intuitive imo. They're pushing developers to make their icons in a shape of a rounded square to make it uniform across the store, yet they put a CIRCLE progress bar around it. A circle might've been better for me considering most Google apps and third party apps are round anyway (plus it's easier!)

For some reason, if you keep reinstalling the same update and keep trying, the new UI might suddenly pop up. It's like it's completely random.

Bro there's no need to clear whole storage of play store and restart also, just clear cache after updating and force close the play store. And BOOM!!! U got the new md2.

We all have been doing this since the first apk was rolled out and has 100% profit ratio.

Only good thing about this update is that various categories are moved towards the bottom, but an all white theme sucks, it's better now appearance vise and md2 didn't look that good in the play store
