Russians march against nuclear weapons

This film shows a mass march and meeting for peace and a world free of nuclear weapons. Most of the speeches are aimed against the USA and Nato. But the fact that such a demonstration was allowed, showed the first stirrings of mass demonstrations, even if not spontaneous, in the early days of Gorbachev becoming the leader of the USSR.
