The Best Soft and Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Warm oatmeal chunky cookies like this one, with golden and black raisins won't last long.
Even while baking, the aroma is just too tempting  

Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
I tsp vanilla
1 ½ cup All purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
I tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
3 cups old fashioned oats
½ cup black raisins
½ cup golden raisins

Soak raisins in hot water, they will come plump and juicy

Preheat oven 350°F
1.Cream butter and sugars
2.Beat in eggs and vanilla
3.Mix all dry ingredients and add mix in oatmeal
4.Mix all ingredients
6.Bake for 10-12 minutes

I just did this recipe. I put pecans in the blender and added it in with the oatmeal and CHEFS KISS. This recipe is so GOOD

Made these last night, super chewy and the cinnamon gives it that spice .. even though I didn’t have a whisk.. it came out ok.. I just added more flour so it was a bit cakey but they tasted great

Absolutely delicious. I used 170g of brown and 80g of white sugar so less than indicated and they r still too sweet for me. Next time i will go for 150&50. Pls add your measurements in grams also. Thx a lot. Greetings from switzerland🇨🇭❤️

I have been baking all my life & my 1st time making soft cookies. GREAT RECIPE.
I added chopped nuts.
Could I use other dried fruit like figs or mixed fruit?
