Nothing surprises me anymore as I've learned that you can be so connected to another person that you see and feel what they see and feel. My wife calls me last year to tell me she lost her favorite necklace that I gave her. She had an X-ray that day and she took it off, put it in her pocket and forgot about it. That last bit about the bond between two people struck a chord with me. About a year ago, my girlfriend and I had a very interesting experience... We were on acid, making love, and just after the point of climax, we somehow switched bodies. Sort of. Without leaving our own bodies, we became aware of each other as if we took control of one another. I noticed this when she was slowly stroking my arm, and I realized that I could feel my arm through her fingertips.
