Therefore 3x=5×3
=15

-x = -5 (multiply both sides by –1)
x = 5

• 3 x = 3 (5) = 15.🎉

Why we can't just take X =20-15 like that?

Y we need add x and minus 15 in both sides any logic

But we find x value like in this way 20-x=15 x=20_15=5

Just multiply by 3 on both side, u will get the answers.

Why this much worry
If you want get 20-x=15, only one possibility is there x=5 so 3*5=15
Simple

I just saw that A, B and D options are not even multiples of 3, so for sure those aren't answers... Only C is multiple of 3

Unnecessary you made this simple equation big and confusing..just simply do this.. 20 - x = 15
-x = 15 - 20
-X = -5
now cut both minus sign
Therefore x = 5
