I saw Bullet Train today and it was a very enjoyable summer movie. Nothing I will remember in any detail in 3 weeks, but I was entertained from the first scene to the last and all the performances were good with the Twins, the Elder, and the White Death being my favorites. I would definitely recommend it.

I saw Bullet Train yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a dark comedic action movie. I think this will easily pass the 100 million mark in USA.

No one is as big a star as they were in the 90s and 00s but even at his height Brad was never on the consistent drawing level as a Leonardo, Smith, Chan, Cruise, Hanks or Washington. A solid hand for a mid level feature.

I do think it depends on the content you are making. Disney having family oriented content is very good for subscribers. A lot of babysitting content, right in your home, not that expensive... and a lot of grown ups love Disney, so they focusing on streaming is correct. Warner on the other hand, following the Universal path is correct. HBO should focus its streaming on QUALITY TV as they know and let movies work in the theaters. They could get the best of both worlds there.

You can always tell the bias and extra harshness when Grace doesn’t like something. Not being fair, a 30 million start isn’t incredible but its not a flop either

I still think Brad’s biggest mistake was going for so many lead roles. His true ability shines when he’s supporting. Ever since 12 Monkeys, Seven, Fight Club, etc. he was a costar or supporting. Then he got big when he did things like Ocean’s 11, Snatch, etc. where he was part of a nice ensemble. Not even a main supporting player. He doesn’t need to be forced into lead just bc he’s good looking, his actual talent is in small servings.

I saw Prey last night and loved it. I definitely want more stuff like that and I don’t think it makes me a snob.

I saw Bullet Train yesterday it was an enjoyable popcorn flick, it was pretty empty in the theater. I'm just a sucker for Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Zazie Beetz, so the two together I had to see.

I do not understand the hate for Bullet Train. I had a great time watching it. It's my second favorite movie of the year after Everything, Everywhere, All At Once.

We’ve never had HBO max in the UK so their straight to HBOMax thing being stopped won’t feel any different to us outside the US.

99 percent of actors aren't going to be "box office draws" in the modern age of cinema. The age of the movie star is pretty much dead besides a select few like the Rock.

I reckon they’re right to return to the old model, streaming is going to become the new network TV, we can see it happening with free advert subscriptions on the way, and studios ain’t going to be putting big movies on there for free until years after release.

Brad is a great actor with a solid resume, but I’m seeing Bullet Train on discount Tuesday.
Watching Westworld, Only Murders in the Building and Harley Quinn. I tried Umbrella Academy s3, but found it too dry. Carter on Netflix was awesome.
Looking forward 2 Day Shift and will start Loot and Surface this week.

Loved Brad in Seven & Fight Club. There is really nobody these days where I will feel compelled to see the movie just because they are in it.

I don't think being a "box office draw" in a single actor/actress is a thing anymore. So many of the high grossing movies these days are reboots, franchises, or ensemble type films that aren't necessarily anchored by one movie star

Saw bullet train yesterday. It was really fun. Joey King stole the show

Sea Beast has some excellent animation. Particularly impressed with its depictions of water.

Now if somehow they could come together to do another Mr. & Mrs. Smith, now that would break some records lol. But I don’t think, it’s going to happen😂. But still love both actors a lot.
