Addiction is so prevalent in our society today. Rome really hits this one on the head. The video is great as well. I know I've bashed Rome in the past, but this song and a few others are actually good songs. It was naive to think he could fill Bradley's shoes, so I hope anyone who listens to Rome listens to Bradley first. I had a friend die of a heroin OD a few years ago and although I hadn't seen him in a couple of years it was still devastating. I also had a co-worker die from heroin as well. Both of them hid their usage from me until it was too late. So, it's a shameful secret to a lot of people and hopefully it gets solved sometime during our lifetimes.

This song is absolute perfection. My best friend of 5 years, my high school sweetheart, my first love passed away on July 13th of an overdose. His last facebook post was lyrics from this song. It was also the first song that played at his funeral. Although it's really hard to listen to it and not get overly emotional, this song is for him...

This song... A little less than five months ago, my sister's closest friend passed away tragically after having an asthma attack after being brutally beaten and robbed. They then made track marks on his arm to make it look like he overdosed on heroin and dropped his body at a hospital. No one was ever brought to justice for the horrible crime and the police dropped the case. We'll never forget you Darrick. D loved Rome and this song reminds me of him and moves me to tears every time I hear it!
