Thank you, I was trying for half an hour to get my adapter off the faucet after it being on there for four years, only to watch this and realize it comes off right instead of left. Derp.

I have an issue with the quick coupler not sealing properly to this faucet adapter...
Its a Kenmore, and it looks like it has plastic tabs that connect to the adapter. But one of then dont seem to be making a positive connection, and im getting a bad leak at the faucet adapter.
Any help?

DanWallaceMusic, if you can't get it off you may have to replace the whole faucet. I suspect it could be mineral buildup causing problems. Pour white vinegar or clr into a sandwich bag and rubber band tightly around the faucet. Leave it on there for as long as you can, then try to loosen with the slip pliers. Good luck.

I just got an "SPT" portable dishwasher off Amazon. Trying to convert this from portable to a hard or permanent installation. I have some experience but cannot tell what threads the inlet and outlet have as well as the threads on the 2 hoses (look about 3/8 but do not fit and they have rubber washers) sink faucet adapter.
I simply want to adapt the inlet and outlet lines from a (Canadian?) portable to permanent install.
Any help is appreciated. I can email you pics etc.

I bought a new adapter and it has a plastic disk in it with a small hole. Apparently it's a low flow aerator. The flow rate is 1.5 gpm. Is this sufficient for a portable dishwasher? I'm assuming they wouldn't have made a dishwasher adapter that you can't use, but you never know. Otherwise, can I remove those plastic parts?

Why is it that I added the rubber O ring inside the adapter and the water still leaking there? Any ideas?
