WOW, Anti-2A Lawmaker Admits His Gun Laws Are Designed To Control Law Abiding Citizens Not Criminals

NJ lawmaker admits the current gun control bills have nothing to do with criminals, just controlling law-abiding responsible citizens.

The NJ Concealed Carry law (NJ Bill A4769 S3214 ) is designed to make getting a license to carry so complex that very few will be able to do it.

They want the process to obtain a carry permit to be extremely confusing, to require way too much time, and/or they want you to be unable to afford it.

The laws turn Second Amendment rights to carry into a privilege for the rich elite, and now no one can say I'm lying because bozo over here (Assembly bill’s primary sponsor, Joe Danielsen) just proved it when he said this:

"The last thing I want to say to people, and some of my own Democrats have commented to me, this does nothing [to] stop the illegal gun trade, or the illegal criminal, illegal possessions, or criminal content and… you're right. This doesn't. It was never supposed to address that. This is addressing the legal, law abiding, responsible citizens. That's what it's designed to do."

Making it illegal for law-abiding citizens to carry a gun for self-defense makes it easier for criminals to murder and harder for law-abiding citizens to stop criminals from murdering.

That's common sense that clearly isn't very common in the age of government worship and over dependence.

As a cop in Philly, we were very conscious of Jersey’s pro-criminal stance, since we were prohibited by law from carrying our weapon across the bridge, except in the instance of hot pursuit of a felon. Even New York was more understanding, yet Jersey seemed to be ignored when unconstitutional states were highlighted. I am glad to see that this tendency is changing.

I had to wait three months for permission to purchase a gun in Jersey the first time I tried. As I waited, I was told by the gun shop owner that my status as a retired police officer meant nothing, as even active Jersey State Troopers had to go through the same bureaucratic morass when they tried to buy a handgun.

I therefore fell confident in opining that Jersey is in fact, THE most anti-Constitutional of the 50 states.
