Who ever is stupid enough to confuse the switches, shouldn't even own a truck.

One of the best model for Silverado, design, engine and comfort

so he says the running boards aint good for off road but instead of taking the damn things off he continues to smash them up

Nice review I have a 2wd Z71 Silverado and love it, atleast as far a highway, I think its the smoothest ride out there of full size pickups.

The front part of the bumper for aerodynamics is removable with four clip just like my tahoe, chevy knows what they are doing lol read the manual guys

I plan of getting one soon.. But it's lifted and has better tires so I shouldn't have to worry about this. It's so nice!

No do not remove the steps, nerf bars or whatever, just lift it up a bit, would you rather have the rocks make contact with the body or with the steps? not a hard question to answer..

i love this truck, but in my oppinion, i think that is too low for the heavy off roads, i think that they have to up a little bit more off the ground, and the silverado will be perfect :D

The answer is power deploying running boards

If you want more off-road capabilities, don't get the extended or even worse the crew cab. That makes every change in terrain come even closer to the underside. You can call those tires anything you want but they are street tires. Put some real tires on it, take that front valance and running boards off and you have a decent off-road vehicle.

Well, I agree, what you're saying about the step sides and that little piece, I need to front bumper Sunday, I was walking a construction site doing security and whipped off one of my step sides. And the front bump hole laying plot. It took off the other steps I'd do. Lol

I have the Denali, first thing I did is Removing the front spoiler and installed 2 inch lift kit because this truck is really close to the ground

if i were to need to go off roading with that truck regularly i would defiantly get a lift. never really had a problem with the 2010's height as of now though

Power Wagon package- 12, 000 lb warn winch, 456 gears, locks front and rear, rock rails skid plates front to rear, sway bar disconnect, 32" of wheel travel. Oh yeah it's got HD shocks too.

Don't leave the Auto 4wd on. Inexperience at its finest here in this video, unless you don't like having a functioning transfer case.

I agree with Avalanche .Its why I'm lifting my 2014 Z71 6inches.  This truck is bad ass. If you don't like it don't buy it.

The Chevy is better, especially given the tires, ride height, locking diff and suspension. The Denali did much better than I expected, but it was not a happy truck. The main thing holding back the Chevy was the low-hanging chin and side steps.

Power Wagon all day. Raptors are good for going fast on dirt tracks and in mud, but they're not as good at getting through the really tough stuff and being a real truck when it matters.

Trashing the running boards is better than trashing the rocker panels...
Darned if you do, darned if you don't.
