This man has a voice that could continuously insult you directly and you wouldn’t know. 😂

omfg since the conversation right before was about hiding German heritage, when you said "germophobe" my immediate thought was "fear of Germans" ROFL

There is so much spooky irony in this, from Fredrick trump getting deported, to Fredrick trump dodging the military, to Fredrick trump literally dying during the 1918 flue pandemic 👻

Surprised that the majority of comments are politically neutral and relatively kind.

It is nice that this wasn't political, and I genuinely found it interesting. Thank you!

1:35 Donald Trump is the humblest of people; no one is humbler. He says so himself.

My grandmother remembers as a child being told to stop speaking German. Elder member of the family had dimensia/alzheimers and commited murder suicide to his wife because he was so terrified people would lynch them for being German. Made the news. Sad story.

In 1893 Matilda Joslyn Gage wrote a book called "Woman, Church and State". She describes girls being lured into prostitution with ads for nannies and housekeepers, only to find themselves chained up in a cabin in a logging camp. This was contemporary with Frederick's saloon/brothel enterprise. So far as I've read, it's made to sound like he wasn't personally involved in what was happening there, or like the women he was running were independent contractors there to get a piece of that Yukon gold the easy way. I'm not so sure. If girls were being lured to the logging camps of Wisconsin in the 1890's, why would it be any different in the gold fields of Alaska in the same timeframe?

My Ortodontist here in Berlin is a relative of the President. I asked him if he was related because of the name and to my surprise he told me: “yes, but I don't want to be reminded of that“✌🏼😂

Actually BURST into laugh al 5:00 when Simon said: "Frederick soon took a job that could have otherwise been filled by a U.S. citizen..." 🤣

So everything is because one barber couldn't support himself where he was because there weren't enough hairy people. Who says history isn't weird?

If people read the comments before they comment there wouldn't be nearly as many comments.

Ah, so his Grandma had all the business savvy.

My grandparents also hid their German heritage. My grandfather to this day insists he doesn't speak German, his own native language. That said, Fred Trump looks like the sleaziest used car salesman

As a German, I am profoundly sorry for what we have brought upon the US.
