Was a little tricky at first to get an ideal angle but once i did it was like butter. Straightening out the wire made it a lot easier. Of course you made it look easy as hell. Im gettin there.

Position. When you said “use a sharp blade” that’s when the light went on. I should know better lol!

been doing it like this for over 20 years, works better on a hard surface and with a hook blade like carpet fitters use . this eliminates sideways movement of the wire along the blade .

This is an awesome technique, as you know I use a hand crank or my electric one (my hands aren't too good gripping too long) but this technique will definitely work for loads of people, fab 👌👍

That's actually a really great idea. All this time I been skinning with the razor... it just hadn't dawned on me to pull with the wire, rather than push the razor.😖

I'll definitely be trying that as soon as I go back inside once this rain starts up proper.

That's a good way for sure. I have a motorized stripper. It's awesome and efficient. I recently cash in 1200 lbs. Back in June 2021. It took me a couple of years to save and strip that much wire. I'm an Electrician for my job so acquiring scrap is easy for me. I made 4800 dollars for that 1200 lbs. and about 500 lbs of low volt cord, cat6, etc.

I agree with you 100% don't burn wires for civil. It's a terrible thing to do for everybody. No, just yourself and yes, put on some good tunes, and you get into a nice flow. ☯️🖖☮️✌️🕉
