Další z Julinčiných sprintů, zaznamenaný 100 fps frekvencí. Podobné video už tady mám, ale od té doby uplynul rok a tohle se myslím jako studie kočičího pohybu celkem povedlo. Je stále stejně rychlá a vytrvalá.

It's magnificent footage! Many years ago, I watched my own 5-yr-old cat (in excellent condition) running straight across a big field in hot pursuit of a hare! They both moved at dizzying speed - reminding me of the lure on a greyhound racing track. The hare outmassed the cat by a factor of maybe three, but it was not one step faster than the cat, and all that saved it from being caught was its ability to turn sharply. Of course, I haven't the faintest idea of what the cat would have done had it actually caught the hare. But, dammit, I have read that hares can run in excess of 60 k/h, and I am presuming that these two animals were certainly doing that!
