My guitar courses are available within the Guitareo membership :)
Also, my beginner course, GuitarQuest, is still available on it's own too

The channel is supported in part by Sweetwater’s affiliate program. Thanks for that!

this is what you play when you drop your pick off the building

You'd never remember me, but several years ago I had found you playing this song (I believe on a Yamaha strat?). At the time, you'd told me you were really more of a drummer. I showed that video to several people and frequently put it on for company that followed me home after bar close. My eyes bugged out when you began coming up in my feed the other day and I realized it was you making all these videos now. Very, very happy for you. All the best from your past.. Ty... :)

Putting this out there on a whim... Rob's music like this has been a huge help for me in many ways. I am severely bipolar and a guitar player. His music (Rain, Anchor and this one) has found a calm ground for me. My therapist and I even use it in sessions. IT WORKS!!!!

I am not sure what this makes me feel, but it makes me feel a lot of it

its crazy this was 11 years ago, i remember the day i found this song i was over at my friends house trying to learn how to play different songs on guitar and then we found this, we both practiced for hours hoping to learn this one day. sadly i injured my left wrist and cant play anymore but he continued practicing and eventually one day he actually played it all the way through. that was 8 years ago and he sadly passed away a few months ago. what a great reminder of an even better friendship. thanks rob

It is very hard to describe why this song and this video go so perfectly together to create such a unique feeling, but I can say it is nostalgic, happy, sad and comforting.

I'm 15. It's crazy to think that in my lifetime Rob Scallon is eventually gonna stop making content. Plus all the other guitar/music channels. Makes me appreciate this song even more.

The police siren at 3:50 has just perfect timing.

"...and as the Scallon played his song atop the highest mountain, his music was carried amongst the wind, bringing all joy and sadness, to those who listened carefully to the wind as it rushed pasted them, spreading its wonderful infectious influence to all."

I’ve been chasing this high for quite a while now.. maybe vibe would be a more appropriate word.. either way, beautiful song. I felt like there was a unique feel to just tapping the strings on the frets, but I couldn’t get something fully and looking at this, it’s beautifully done.

Indeed, I’m commenting on your song 7 years after it’s release but I like to think of it this way: you have made something that is still touching people after 7 years. Better yet, a younger generation!

Seeing as to how there’s still so much interesting content from your channel, I’m glad you’ve continued what you’ve started. Again, looking forward to more songs from you in the future. :)

The sirens near the ending set the atmosphere just right. Beautiful song, Rob. It's a shame I just discovered it, 3 years after it's upload. Much praise & love, take care.

Back in my junior and senior year of college in 2014/2015 when I lived alone and had no friends whatsoever I just used to sit outside on my deck and listen to this on repeat and smoke a few cigarettes just to feel like maybe something was ok. It’s now 2021 and I’m coming back to this video to say that I’m happily married for almost two years with a six year old daughter and another daughter on the way due in July and things really are ok now. I know the odds of you seeing this comment are very very slim but I said all of that to say this. Thank you.

Still one of the most beautiful songs I've heard on guitar, this and Rain are masterpieces. Rob Scallon's music just hits differently. Anchor is really nice too
