I grew up in New York, what some would say is the "poor side of town", but I loved it! In school I was introduced to French. No one explained why learning a new language was important and how it could connect me to a new world and way of thinking. I just remember I loved the way it sounded even though I didn't get far at all. Fast forward more than 50 years where I've decided to take French again. You are the teacher I wish I had then! I can't believe I'm learning French and I'm actually doing well thanks to your videos! I just wanted you to know, you've reached all the way to a 50 plus year old woman who heard the beauty of the French language as a child, who lived in the middle of New York and LOVES your way of teaching. Alexa is awesome. Love her style and approach. As a French newbie (today is day 10 of learning), am I right (or wrong) in saying the plurals sound exactly the same as the singulars? Ex.: La fille ; Les filles. (fille and filles sound identical to me).
