Chere Alexa- Bonjour et merci beaucoup pour ce video de pratiquer la verbe conditionnel. Il etait tres utile pour reviser cette verbe tense.

Basically, you use the same endings as the conditional, but the stem of the present tense nous form of the verb, so marchais, marchais, marchait, marchions, marchiez, marchaient. French language is difficult enough, without French trickiness!

So to recognise speech or text using conditional, we would have to look for the verb in its infinitive with one of the special endings added? This is a challenge because of the alignment with Imparfait verbs. I'm wondering if it would be possible you could do a lesson on recognising the two tenses side by side.

Could you help me clarify something. Conditionel is referred to as a "mood" like subjonctif right ? And here you say it can be used to express a wish. But I have made a list of when to use the "subjonctif mood" and one of those is when expressing a wish as well. So my question is how do I know which to choose (conditionel v subjonctif) if for example I am expressing a wish ?
