Wow. Disappointed to see how this was handled. I don't know TJ or his story so there's no bias or ulterior motive here. I've only seen this clip...based on that alone? Ironically, he's the only one that came out looking like he had any human emotional intelligence and empathy. There are so many people in this world who are isolated from illness, disfigured insecurities, mental health struggles, neurodivergence, rural living etc. These apps and AI can literally keep those people alive and out of a major depressive state by having a friend on their terms without judgement or expectation. It also helps neurodivergents practice social skills to apply in real life. In the same way Im attached to my plant I've had with me for 30 years, these characters become a vital source of one's world when they are in need of some security. I had childhood trauma and abandonment, that plant was the one constant thing I knew. For many people they just need one thing they can that attach to and know it won't leave them. TJ had a very valid point in that the app missed the boat by changing it up without any warning causing insecurities or feelings of loss, rejection, change and abandonment that people weren't prepared for. Shitty piece fox. So disrespectful to your guest.

I hope someone else more intuitive will give this topic and TJ another chance to explore the original topic of ROBOT THERAPY. Maybe some folks would find it easier to share their deep thoughts and feelings with something other than a cynical human.

You didn't handle that well at all but your guest handled it extremely well! Even your match maker took that all out of context too! Jesse revealed his shallow thinking and his narcissistic personality here. He's not a deep person. With a smug smile of superiority on his face he completely missed the mark in this interview.
But don't get your hopes high guys. Regardless of the many negative comments here, he will not get it.
