Using a local river, scrap metal and dynamo, Wangare built a hydroelectric power station in the town of Njumbi. One man made this kind of difference by using the money he got from selling 300 rabbits. Makes you wonder where the millions donated to charities all goes and what the local governments do with tax money etc. What an incredible man

Now this is awesome. Guy saw the problem, and didn’t just sit around, but made the solution. This is what humans are about. Not theft, and killing.

I remember reading about this man. He first powered one light bulb with a wind turbine built of sticks. He went to a nearby hill for the night and felt so awed at his one pinpoint of light in the vast darkness. All he had was a couple of library books and a boneyard of junk parts.

Why is a BIG story less than 3 minutes long? I think this man and his project earn much more time and therefore support.
