On the surface, Objectivism sounds almost perfect. The problem is, where's the limits (drugs, alcohol, sex, etc) in human behavior? Going back to strengthen training. When does the trainee realize that "overtraining" leads to a compromise in recovery and growth. I understand that the human being has freewill. However, there has to be a "point of restraint" before the individual destroy themselves and others. Everything in this creation has limits.

I’m one to believe in the opposite position, at least when it comes to the social world, that there is not one objective reality but rather that there are multiple interpretations of reality. In other words, while there are some fundamental truths, social reality is subjective. Had Mentzer been alive today, I’m sure him and I would have gotten along if we knew each other, of course, but he and I would have most definitely been in disagreement about the merits of objectivism. Respect either way.
