People are misunderstanding this far too much. Leonard is by far not a trump-supporter. He sees that Trump will do less damage than Biden will. Biden's left-wing disintegration is more harmful to the country long and short-term than Trump's politics. There is a major difference between voting Trump and supporting Trump

Unless you consider the movement a cult and him a cult leader, that statement isn't sufficient. He presented no reason for why he is voting for Trump. Dr. Peikoff clearly made that statement out of an emotional reaction to the gossip he heard. I have enormous respect for Dr. Peikoff, but there is nothing here to go on with.

Like jury duty and immigration, Dr. Peikoff gets politics wrong. Nonetheless he is a genius and worthy of great admiration.

Peikoff supported Trump a second time and with the actions Trump has demonstrated against Ukraine, Greenland, Canada, immigrants who have done nothing immoral, Peikoff deserves contempt and condemnation for having supported Trump and so does anybody who works for the ARI and believes the same thing. Among all the other values it brought, Objectivism was a bulwark against all tyrants - not just those of the left. You have all betrayed it.
