You can also do $Timer.is_stopped() as an alternate way of seeing if the timer is playing.

Randomising pitch scale is a game changer. It lets you get so much out of just 2 (or even 1 in some cases) footstep sound effects. Good tip, thanks!

dont know if you will respond soon or at all but what if you dont have animations? just a moving triangle at a topdown angle (with no animations that i plan on adding) i tried a couple things and it didnt work
