I'm so glad this is a meme because of how relatable it is. Makes you realise you're not the only person that's gone through it.
For me, it was Thursday evening and COVID was getting pretty bad, so my mum didn't let me to go to school the day after on the Friday. Turns out that Friday was no lessons and my year having a massive party (they were closing the school for then because of COVID and I was in my final year at the school so instead of doing normal stuff the teachers decided to surprise everyone in the morning with the news).
I then never went back there as we completed the rest of the school year on virtual and we never did the end of school residential trip because COVID said we couldn't travel in massive groups on coaches.

I am still salty about that.
