HUGE props to the Mortal Chaos warriors. That's what a beating heart and mortal blood do! Also like, 110 armor?

If BigBerd had been cycle charging the infantry, using his barrier the whole time, he'd have won that match. For sure.

At like 6:30 I extended my lord's life a huge amount of time with the tier 2 army ability. Sad that I kept missing the blue fire block with my abjurations lol.

Did some testing specifically for this matchup. All Khorne infantry beat Tzeentch forsaken in a 1v1 which isn't surprising really but it hammers home how good shielded warriors are in this matchup with their 100 armour, 40MD and 55% missile block. Tzeentch struggles against armour since they generally lack AP aside from flamers so going full heavy metal works very well in most cases. To effectively counter you Tzeentch needs to bring a metal chicken and spawn for armour debuffs which means no Kairos with pendulum & regrowth. Final transmutation & T3 Tzeentch army ability (The super bombardment) is counterable by the bloodreapers 66% magic resist aura; as soon as you see that big blast template pop that shit and laugh.

Another really good tool in this matchup is bloodcrushers. Bloodletters are prone to being shot up by horrors which really neuters their effectiveness, meanwhile bloodcrushers rock 100 armour with enough speed and mass to bulldoze into backlines where they put the laughter in slaughter. With blue horrors being 160 models apiece you can easily sick a unit of crushers on them and farm the 80 kills for hellblade which just supercharges your already awesome heavy metal cav. They will consistently earn you more than two units of bloodletters would most matches, even if that value comes from Tzeentch having to focus fire them down (which just leaves your other threats untouched and ready to profit).

Go-to build as Khorne against Tzeentch has been bringing the max of shielded warriors & flesh hounds backed up by a unit or two of blood crushers. Lord is a tossup between herald for the buffs or bloodthirster for the beatstick; depends which one you think you'll need more and what your opponent is most likely to counter. At least two units of chaos halberds are a good supplement to the shielded frontline; they can fill gaps in the line and are effective against spawn & knights. Once the melee line squares up put them where you need them.
As mentioned before it can be worth it to bring a bloodreaper in place of a cultist but that's entirely up to you; no point doing it if you micro is sloppy and you don't use the anti-magic aura.

Last little random tidbit from tests is Khorne furies TECHNICALLY beat Tzeentch furies in a straight up fight only they sustain so much damage in doing so they disintegrate shortly after.

First! 😝 I know it's no big deal.

Anyway I used to think that due to their heavy melee focus that the forces of Khorne were at a severe disadvantage against other factions especially Kislev. However, after seeing Khorne's units in action I have come to like this faction.

Man oh man Tzeentch is INSANE, though! No wonder Tzeentch was just about able to curb stomp the other gods of Chaos back in the day.

Khorne might not be as flashy as others factions but all who thought he was weak has found that he was that by design especially for all that damage

Feels like Lore of Metal might have been more useful for Tzeentch here, for Plague of Rust (circumventing magic resistance on account of not doing direct damage)

Fun battle! Interesting to see the battle play out without mobility on either side

The fuck is that map? Not only is Tzeentch the king of range, but you also gonna put them on the greatest sloped highground ever seen? Thank you dark souls, I guess.

Good match. Massive inf push from KH insanely strong. They don't have weak units.

WoW after watching his video I still don't know how khorne won

In campaign I had to create a flesh Hound Army to beat blue army because my Warriors and blood letters just kept getting kited

In multiplayer is it possible to perform Starcraft Style hit-and-run tactics?
