I believe he's just building a narrative to monetize his binge eating disorder (and now weight loss). It's not a social experiment, at least not by it's actual definition. He trolls and watches by, making money in the process.

I don't have a strong opinion on Nick as a person but he's long been an excellent clickbaiter and revenue strategist; it's difficult to say whether he gained and lost the weight for views or not, but I personally think he's just making his ED patterns into profit.

It’s crazy because I subscribed to him around the same time I subscribed to you probably what 12 years ago? At least a decade ago. Back when he was a vegan channel.
I thought he would lose this weight but wasn’t expecting the “social experiment” thing.
He made multi millions getting fat and now he’s set for life and not fat 🤷🏼‍♀️ Don’t know the experiment part.
I don’t hate him never have. He’s obviously a very intelligent man, very talented the violin and all. I will give him credit at the very least that he’s broken the internet multiple times with what he does especially this. I don’t know.

He’s probably on semaglutide (Ozempic/Wegovy). I really doubt that he has the willpower to lose so much weight in such a short time without outside help.
