I have helped a blind elderly woman.
l was riding my bicycle and l saw her crossing the street from the other side of the road, a guy in a mercedes came flying down the road going way too fast,
I crossed the street knowing the guy was coming.
I pulled her back onto the sidewalk and made sure she didn't get hit by the ground but rather fell on to me.
He was going at least 55mph in a 30mph zone, had l been a few seconds later the driver would have hit her.
Poor woman almost had a heart attack.
She told me:
"My child, you saved my life and l will never forget that."
