Thanks Chris, this is good news.
It’s hard when you tell people in your sound evangelical church the truth concerning Hillsong and they still want to sing the songs because they’re to their minds such “good songs”. What A Beautiful Name It Is” for example.
I was drawn too, but did some research of my own and discovered they’re nothing more than a bunch of musicians with the latest high tech very expensive musical accoutrements swinging and swaying in the dark. Put the lights on!
Not a church but a cult and whatever “preaching” they do is a soft, watered down gospel.
Praying this investigation will expose them, that hearts would be regenerated and for genuine sorrow leading to repentance at offending a holy God.

I am a senior in Canada who took on a cabal of 12 men claiming to be the 'Lord's Anointed' - GLOBAL MISSIONS INC, out of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada - they have been sued for sexual abuse, settled, sent flowers to the victim to celebrate, and then a letter saying how that settlement should be spent -- I have reported abuse spanning 25 years - 'investigated' by an elder - I played the piano in their 'church' for 50 years, excommunicated because I reported the abuse of a 'deacon' - no explanation, no justification and when asked...' there will be no comment " - run for your life when you have leadership that is corrupt~

Strange thing, 2 days ago I met a man who represented and was born again through Hillsong (somehow, they have no church in my country).
How?
I need to help him build his faith *and* get him out of Hillsong influence. Delicate task.

Is it also possible for them to do a investigation like this for Bethel Church, and the way they are involved in so many churches, and also changed the former both Evengelical churches that I was member off with there complete unbiblical kingdom now teachings..
By the way, me myself, I am so greatful that God opened my eyes for there misleding..

I was never tempted by Hillsongs phoney baloney but I still want to talk to the investigation team about maybe adding more "keys" or cowbell to these short clips to get me into my Todd White zone a little better. :)

I was a minister in training at the first megachurch that Hillsong (the Borg) took over. Saw a lot. Hillsong preyed on the church when the Senior Pastor was ousted. They were like sharks smelling blood in the water. Man, the stories I could share.

Love your work Chris - can i say, that I hope it also comes out that churches approached Hillsong to take over their churches. (my own church went through this, tho i never saw the need for it to merge.). Remember in the midst of this there are good people, doctrinally sound, Christ-centred ministers and leaders that were part of the broader team. I know these as fact. Some of you are eager to wipe the whole Hillsong movement away. I do hope any wrong doing comes to light, but i also trust that the good things are reported also. that is fair and balanced critiquing. I honestly feel a pivotal moment came some years ago and a massive shift happened/this was around the time Darlene left Hillsong - and you will find the worship songs (Shout To The Lord etc) were far more biblically grounded, there was a difference about the place and what was happening then
