I haven't tried this yet, but if your blackface 1176 is anything to go by, disappointment is on the cards. i have no idea what your modelling approach was for that one, but it wasn't an 1176. ironically, it makes for a pretty decent transient shaper when you set the attack all the way counter clockwise, but when you do typical 1176-ish things with it e.g all buttons, fastest release fastest attack, it sounds plain wrong. i don't believe there is any feedback going on and the release has no program dependency. setting the release all the way counter clockwise as well with the attack turns it into what is essentially a waveshaper. no aggressive, pulled up smashed room mic sound, nada. not impressed
