I give all of my thanks to you! You are a bloody legend! I used a little bit of tape to tighten up my charging port and it worked like a charm! It no longer wiggles and squirms around when I try to charge it. God bless my guy.

I rarely comment on YouTube videos but I have to thank you for saving me time and money. For people out there doubting this, please try cleaning your charging outlet and see before discarding it as another useless video.

Thank you for this! I’d been close to deciding that my phone had lived out its life and was done for. I do have to replace the electrical tape somewhat often, but it’s definitely an improvement from not charging at all!

The electrical tape fix worked! I was a bit leery, because I wasn’t sure the electrical connections were only along the back of the socket, but sure enough, now it fits snuggly and is charging well.

Electrical tape idea worked perfectly!

I was on 2% lol thank you, I had to hold the charger in a specific spot to get it to charge! I put a little electrical tape in there and it’s a bit tighter then new but it works great! Super easy

Thanks bro! I was at 12 percent charging at an angle hahah. I only scraped the dust out of the port. I was already getting my tape ready. But then I decided to really give it a go trying to get as much of the dust out as i possibly can with a paperclip. And it works great! I mean it’s pretty straight forward to just clean the dust out but your video just gave me that little push that i needed. Was thinking about going to the repair shop already… you saved me some money :)

The tape worked like a charm! I used normal tape first but I found it to be too thin for my port so I used tuck tape instead!

Most of the time fixes on Youtube do not work, but this one fixed the issue. I used tape for the charging port on the iPhone and it now works great. Thanks you

I’ve been using regular tape because the electrical never worked. The scotch tape worked for 6 months, but now the charger goes in and you can move it left and right. So I have to keep messing with it until it charges, then let it sit still like that until fully charged. I don’t understand how the charge port goes left and right with charger. It’s not like my charger is wide and stretched the port. The charger is the same size it’s always been

Yay! After a year or so dealing with my charger not going in all the way, I finally thought of looking up why. Then I came across your video ☺️ Now my problem is fixed, I can see how clean it is. All I used was a tooth pick though! As well as blowing into it with my mouth. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Worked like a charm!! I was convinced my charging port was loose and needed to be repaired.. but simply cleaning it out deeply and thoroughly worked perfectly. THANK YOU!!!

Thanks for showing the actual process off-screen so we can see how to actually do it

The dust kept coming and coming and then I had a working charging port! I was convinced from the way the port literally ejected the charging cord plug, that the port was loose and prevented a sufficient connection!! Thank you!❤

Thanks! My iPhone Xs is going on 3 years and the charging port is now showing its age. No matter what cable I used, the charging issue persisted. The cables would only charge if I kept pressure on the them to make sure it was making contact with the pins inside the charging port. I figured using a piece of tape to physically close that gap to force the pins to touch would work. This band aid should work in the meantime until the charging port will eventually completely fail and cost at least $100 to replace.
