Brother there is a problem we should consider.
If the pot becomes loose and open the contact, the voltage will swing up suddenly and damage the circuit powered from it and even the SMPS itself. So we must connect the middle pin of the pot to the unused side pin so the resistance will never be open on loose connection inside it, so the SMPS will not suffer from feedback breaking and will not kill itself. But the problem still remains for the circuit we are powering. Because a loose contact will cause the output to swing upto maximum(may be 12v) and damage the circuit we are powering(example: microcontroller).

One possible solution is to connect the variable resistor in lower end of the divider (reference to ground) this way if it disconnects, the voltage will drop down to 3v and it will not be dangerous for the circuit we are powering.

I would like to use my phone while it is charging. I have a .350 charger it is not quite enough to keep the battery at the same state of charge all the time. I have a 400 and it is too powerful it actually charges the battery while using the phone. I would like for my phone not to increase state of charge on battery while in use. Could you make me a charger that is between 350 and 400 And adjustable.
