What a fantastic video/podcast. Certainly hits home for me! Thank you, Lee!

The number of times I have watched Guitarists on stage and tried to work out what "that" finger shape is. I'd go home and try and remember the shape and it never sounded right when I strummed it. Only now do I learn its an add 9 Chord starting on the D string. Thanks so much Lee!
You'd fallen off my radar since I started your podcasts on Spotify when I first started around Covid time (I was a year behind when you published them originally). Great to see you again.

One quick question regarding Modes. What's your thoughts on learning the 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, note per string shapes that cycle for the major/minor scales and then when you need a different mode, just starting on that modes tonic but still work with that pattern...Rather than having to learn 7 complete and separate patterns?

I find this easier but I am wondering if I am setting myself up for issues further down the line (I tend to play and write my own rock and punk songs rather than "Jam", other than on youtube backing tracks when i use the above system along with CAGED)

keep up the great work! 😀
