Sony Xperia 10 III green tint and temporary Fix (not working with new Update)

My new Xperia 10 III displays dark colors incorrectly when the display brightness is set to a low value. This leads to artefacts in dark areas of pictures and videos.

I found a temporary fix that can be seen near the end of the video. You need an app that displays either photos or videos. Confirmed this with Google Photos app and YouTube App. The fix sometimes does not work immediately. Try several times and move the brightness slider very slowly.

I notified the German Sony Customer Support about this. If you have the same issue please contact support too. This is a software issue that should be fixable with an update.

If this is not fixed I cannot recommend any of the Xperia 1/5/10 III models for usage in low light conditions.

This issue has been partially fixed with the latest software update 62.0.A.3.131. There is still a weak green tint in dark areas but less noticable. The fix above does NOT work anymore with this update!

I bought this phone 3 weeks ago. One main reason to buy this phone was that its OLED, but it does dot act like one. I have the same issue like in the video. Some forums say that the latest update was just a security update that it didnt do anything about the screen issue. Some say that its purely a software problem, that android 11 does not like the screen technology or something.
I messaged the Sony customer support about this, and still waiting for answer. I really like like the phone but this screen issue here makes me regret buying it, i feel i got scammed to buy an OLED screen that is not an OLED.

I know this bad for sony smartphone but I still respect this phone because quality of sony is better than other smartphone.. I hope one day they could improved more and more ability than before.. I know We've seen that happened but that is experience....tell the Japanese people they're made this brand of sony.

The green tint is very annoying, considering that the phone is brand new. My old phone, a Nokia, had a lot clearer and sharper colours. Sony Xperia is so overrated, and at a hefty price. Even its maximum volume is not loud enough compared to my old Nokia. I will never recommend Sony again.

Update (updated): A new Update was released this morning. This cuts off a lot of black values but still has the issue of too bright colors before the cut off. The result is strongly reduced contrast when compared to the temporary fix I found.
My temporary fix still works but it took me much more tries to pull it off. Stamina Mode has to be disabled and the Google Photos App has to be restartet. Even then it takes multiple tries.

Did an update ever solve this? I juste bought a Xperia 10 iii and i have the same exact problem. BUT, i also can't update the phone at all so i'm stuck on android 11

Disable "colour correction" and make another video. People saying problem disappears after that.
