Sony Xperia 10 III - Overview - Is it any good!?

Yeah I know I know I said I won't buy it. Now it landed in my hands anway thanks to generous donor who wants to stay anonymous.

I tested it for a few days and tell you my impressions and experience so far.
What do you think about the 10 III? Is it worth getting for the 400€ or are you waiting for its price to drop?
Are you excited to install the alternative OS Sailfish on it next year?
What do you think about the Snapdragon 690?
And what about the camera?

For stills I use Open Camera app. It is possible to shoot and save in RAW format and edit as you please in Photoshop or other apps that can accept RAW.

You won't believe. I started testing Xperia 10 iii today 🤣😜☺️👍😊 Completion offers a lot more for the money. This phone should cost around £250
I personally like the aspect ratio 🙂

It has a GOOD headphone jack, it has a good battery life. That's all I need in a smartphone. Camera is not really interesting for me. And this Device cost 340€ + a bluetooth headphone 4 free (worth 60€)

I already know Xperia since 2017 since that's the time that I got my first Xperia and all I can say all of their phone's camera is cool but expensive😩, hopefully I get Xperia again

Thank you for your honest review. What I really noticed downside on the stock cam of this was when you press the shutter it doesn't really snap right away? Maybe it really is refocusing or something?

Hmm... why is it sadly that it has a Google assistent button? For me as a Swede I actually kinda like it, because the old Xperia 10 II is almost impossible to use Google Assistent with your voice. I have to connect my Sony headset (with NC) that do has a Google Assistent button, to be able to use the voice commands more freely. So if I dont have the head set, this button is at least in my eyes God-sent. lol.

the question for me is: is it worth switching from xperia xa2 ultra with sailfish to this xperia 10 iii once sailfish os is available for it?

Ok, Is it better than Xperia 10 II. I mean getting so tired of my slow Xperia 10 II. It lags all over at the moment. Sure I haven't done a clean re-install for some time now, but So far I think the GA button is a plus.... but what els is plus? Is it worth an upgrade? And is is it possible to use all lenses with gcam?

MPORTANT NOTE TO ANYONE IN THE USA!!! the Sony Xperia 10 III is not supported by any cell carrier in America. There are only two supported bands, and if you need this phone in an emergency, it could be tragic. Reviewers should do a better job checking on details like this.
