Yes they do have many materialistic items, as they also do have the money to purchase all that they crave to have and own.
In my opinion, although they are extremely wealthy individuals, they are, on the flip side extremely poor, for they lack compassion, they lack empathy and they are incapable of finding joy, in doing something worthy and good towards humanity. That is something that could never enter their minds, hence they are lacking the true essence of blissfulness.
