Lahori Mutton karhai
Serves 4-5
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Dahi (Yogurt) ½ Cup (room temperature)
-Cream 2 tbs (room temperature)
-Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
-Lehsan paste (Garlic paste) 1 tbs
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp
-Mutton mix boti ½ kg
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) chopped 2 medium
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Cooking oil ½ Cup
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Garam masala powder 1 tsp
-Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 2-3
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
-Adrak (Ginger) julienne
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander)
-Adrak (Ginger) julienne
-Hari mirch (Green chilies)
Directions:
-In bowl,add yogurt and cream,whisk well & set aside.
-In wok,add water,garlic paste and mix well.
-Add turmeric powder,mix and bring it to boil.
-Add mutton mix boti,tomatoes,salt and mix well.
-Cover and cook on medium low flame for 15-20 minutes then cook on high flame for 8-10 minutes.
-Add cooking oil,mix continuously and cook for 5 minutes.
-Add red chili powder and mix well.
-Add garam masala powder,mix well and cook until oil separates.
-On low flame,add yogurt+cream mixture,mix continuously and cook for 3-4 minutes.
-Add green chilies,fresh coriander and ginger,mix and cook on low flame until oil separates.
-Garnish with fresh coriander,ginger,green chili & serve.

-Bowl mein dahi aur cream dal ker ache tarhan whisk karein & side per rakh dein.
-Karhai mein pani aur lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Haldee powder dal ker mix karein aur ubal anay dein.
-Mutton mix boti,tamatar aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Dhak dein aur halki darmiyani ancch per 15-20 minutes kliya paka lein phir tez ancch per 8-10 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Cooking oil dal dein aur musalsal mix kertay rahein aur 5 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Lal mirch powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Garam masala powder dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein aur oil alag hunay tak paka lein.
-Halki ancch per dahi+cream ka mixture dal ker musalsal mix kertay rahein aur 3-4 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Hari mirch,hara dhania aur adrak dal ker mix karein aur halki ancch per oil alag hunay tak paka lein.
-Hara dhania,adrak aur hari mirch sa garnish ker ka serve karein.
