Watch as Jerry exposes the historical roots of this doctrine, tracing it back to ancient Egypt, Confucian philosophy, Hindu religion, and the influential Roman orator Cicero. Prepare to have your beliefs challenged as you discover that Just War theory, far from being a Christian revelation, finds its foundation in ancient pagan religion and philosophy.

In this thought-provoking video excerpt, Jerry Robinson dismantles the widely held belief that Just War theory was first introduced to the world by revered Christian figures like Augustine and Ambrose. By exploring its connections to various ancient pagan ideologies, Jerry uncovers a truth that may shock many Christians who rely on the Just War theory to justify their own military engagements.

Jerry, Thank you brother. I never understood how so called Christians could recognize those who fought in wars and killed others. I am going to go out on a limb here and say this is what happens when we put more emphasis on the written word and ignore GOD'S ONLY HOLY SPIRIT AND CHRIST JESUS, WHO IS "THE WORD." We must seek our SAVIOR and LORD and worship HIM "in SPIRIT and TRUTH. FATHER GOD IS SO BEAUTIFUL and knew from the beginning that many false teachers would hijack HIS perfect way. The HOLY SPIRIT cannot be hijacked and is the reason why JESUS had to leave HIS disciples after HIS resurrection. John 16: 5-15

Will watch later but for starters Basque language has two words for war: the native "guda" = just war and the foreign "gerra" = regular war, as war between states. It's possible that "guda" is related to "bagauda", which in Basque is an enphatic "we stand" (bagaude).

What about Father Vitoria, who is the one I thought you'd talk about, i.e. the right and duty to rise up against tyranny?
