200 watts is probably the highest bell curve of most probable buyers. I think it makes perfect sense.

It's a regressive move. An admission of defeat. It's also an indication that Trek is probably cash strapped. Reduce the range and models and sizing. Less SKUs

cdA mostly remains the same at most speeds, doesn't matter if they test it at 200 or 400 watts

well to be fair to Trek, on their last table, they showed 0.05 Bike lengths gained over gen 7 in a Flat 12s sprint @1500w😂

They tested it over a range picked best result which was at 200W.🙄 ❤

Was excited when I saw they released a new Madone but it seems like the reality of it doesn’t live up to the marketing hype. I am curious though if those bottles and cages would work on a different frameset.

On a flat stage 220W is what most of the pro Peloton averages in the draft that are not pulling so... it makes sense

At lower watts the absolute time gains are bigger than on higher watts because you are longer on the road. Science wins.

You guys hardly talk about Trek on your show but if you do it’s you are always critical almost 💯 every time. You just don’t like the brand and I reckon you’re bias. I bet you’ll praise a Road bike sold in Kmart more. 🤣

Test that thing at 1325 watts for at least 7 minutes because I could do that on the lifecycle bike that's supposed to be very accurate, and I'm not a pro. 😅
