This reminds me of when I was a kid. Our dog was taught that food on the coffee table was not his, and basically food on the floor WAS his. My dad had ordered a large pizza with everything on it. He had barely ate any pizza and passed out on the floor (drunk) it was a carpeted floor. And left the pizza box on the floor. He woke up and found the dog had eaten the whole thing. He didn't even yell at the dog cuz he knew it was his own fault.
