Here are some keypoints, which i selected from my old power shooting technique tutorial, if you need more details:

1) Relax.
Allow your entire body to go limp. Shake it out. Let your head, neck legs and every part of your body relax.
The only part of your body that will have tension is your ankle.

2) Large last stride / loading.
Make your last stride a long "forward hopping" load. Your heel should come close to your behind.

3) Allow your knee to come through first.
This is known as "storing the load". Your lower leg will form a V shape. Keep that V shape as long as possible and at the last minute let it extent in a WHIPPING motion through the ball.

4) Kick with the big toe knuckle.
Approach the ball from a slight angle. The largest bone in your foot is the first metatarsal which is just above the big toe knuckle. This translates into FORCE or energy at impact.

5) Break the pane.
Pretend that the ball is sitting in front of a large pane of glass. You want to break the pane with your body, not just your leg or foot. This means that your forward momentum should continue through the shot. This will also cause you to land on your SHOOTING foot, not your plant foot.

6) Watch your foot contact the ball.
If you can see your foot strike the ball you are kicking properly. Doing this also keeps your body in a slightly "bent over" position. Straitening up will kill some of the power release.

To prove this point to younger players you should have them start VERY close to the goal. Have them move back little by little WITHOUT changing their kicking effort. When you see them "forcing" their shot, have them move back very close and feel the loose shot again a few times. Then have them move back out to a far point and use the same "close kick". Both of you will be amazed.

I've been using this technique for a couple years now, it works incredibly well and it's great that you're making a video on this.

As a defender who is used to "clearing" a lot of balls with lots of loft, I've found that focusing on landing on my shooting foot (rather than my plant foot) as I complete the shot helps me keep the ball down and on-target. Nine times out of ten, if my shot goes high, it's because I've "hopped" on my plant foot as I swing through the ball rather than extending my leg and landing on my shooting foot.

When you finally feel what it’s like to strike the ball perfectly, it’s such a good feeling. You really don’t need to kick it as hard as you possibly can but focus on the technique. I used to make that mistake. Now I can literally walk up to the ball and kick with 50% power and it’ll still fly faster and farther than it ever did before with bad technique. The main thing that fixed my form was continuing to point my toes down throughout the entire strike. Lifting up the toes at all will cause the ball to soar upwards and it won’t fly straight. Leaning over the ball is key as well

Thank you so much for making this video!!! It is very informative and helpful. I love how at 1:42 you put where to kick it. I always struggled with that part! Thanks😁

I've always shot with the inside of my boot nearer the front of the shoe to get more whipage around it for the corners of the goal. This technique is really good for further shots

Thank you for the tutorial :)

This technique is a lot like what called collo pieno in italian, or "fuld vrist" in danish, except that there the run up is straight onto the ball.
This finishing technique is also great for quick/short back lift finishes, closer to goal, delivering a quick and powerful short thats difficult for the keeper to react to and anticipate. I think Jermain Defoe used it quite a bit, especially back in his west ham and early Spurs days.

Amazing video once again Freekickerz!!! Amazing that you are teaming up with the F2Freestylers. I like well explained videos, and you always explain really well. Also, I like that you are taking the time to write the steps in the description, that is also very helpful. Keep up the great work!!!

Also after hitting the ball, i find that landing in front of where you hit it helps to keep momentum through the ball and not off to the side. Plus swinging your leg straight from behind instead of too much from the side to avoid to much sideways rotation of the hips which would make the follow through off centred.

best longshot technique together with the outsidecurve i used :)

Finally I reached his shooting level technique, after 4 fucking years, every day(my shooting was like a 8 years old boy). This is the truth that a good work hard and patience you can reach your goal.

This is exactly how I shoot, left footed and small figure aswell. Have more power than all the lads. Big problem with this is its horrible for free kicks (in matches) because of not having any dip it can't get over the wall and into the goal

And the question is: Why was Jeremy in this video?
