“Ultimately, saying that you don't care about privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different from saying you don't care about freedom of speech because you have nothing to say.”

Spotify is a step down for us, no comments is terrible. I like the comments almost as much as the interviews. Spotify will edit out what they view as inappropriate, censorship !

That's it. We're taking psychedelics this year for Christmas, boys.

On my 4th and final trip on Happy caps I changed my life for the better and never turned back... I experienced myself minus the world’s expectations and quit cigarettes as a pack a day smoker like flipping off a light switch. It’s been more than 10 years and I still haven’t touched shrooms or cigs. I’m not claiming that going on a trip will change your life for the better every time or even that everyone should try them. Just that for me the effect was very positive. I saw the future as I could predict it and changed it permanently for the one person I could, myself.

the first question Joe Rogan would ask Jesus if he came back would be "HAVE YOU EVER DONE DMT"

Joe Rogan always gets non Christians to talk about Christianity but he never gets Christian theologians on his podcast. He should get some of them on there to balance things out.

With all the evidence there isn't mushroom for argument. The morel of the the story is Jesus was a fun guy.

That was one of the best dialogues on Rogan's show in a while

Psychedelic’s definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, I would like to try them again but it’s just so hard to source here

I’m no linguist, so I can’t dispute the etymological connection claimed. But the thing is we have plenty of writings of guys who were personally taught by and made bishops by the apostles (Ignatius of Antioch, Pope Clement of Rome), and they never allude to anything like psychedelics. I think it’s easier to believe the apostles were willing to be martyred because they saw Christ risen from the dead rather than for a psychedelic experience.

joe rogan should have winona ryder on the show, her father worked with timothy leary (psychedelic researcher) and she basically grew up around people like that, would be cool to hear her experience as she already mentioned a little about in an interview

I highly recommend looking up podcasts/interviews with Darren LeBaron. He's a researcher who goes deeper into the past than Brian did (although he did amazing work with his research) as he delved into ancient Egypt (who ancient Greece acquired much of their knowledge from) and central and southern Africa. For anyone who's looking to dive deeper.

The relationship between religion and magic is something that most people probably don’t think about. The relationship between magic and shamanism however is probably commonly considered and more easily understood. I’m sure most people have a general idea of the Bible’s stance on sorcery (seeing how popular Harry Potter has been over the past decade or two and the backlash it’s received from the church or maybe they’ve learned about the Salem witch trials) but fail to understand what sorcery actually is—the Greek word for sorcery is “pharmakeia” —the word where we get “pharmacy” and “pharmaceuticals” from. Think about that for a minute. The New Testament was written in Greek . . . if you wanna know the truth you gotta be prepared to dig and do your research

So you rip a verse from 1 Corinthians wayyy out of it's context and connect it to a psychedelic mushroom but ignore everything about being sober minded?
Yals did too much mushroom and not enough research...

Amanita Muscaria is actually far more effective when processed, in yogurt with lactobascillus. It converts all of the ibotenic acid to muscarine in the process and is likely the same thing done to produce SOMA. That also being one reason why cows were sacred in many cultures including India.
