Am I the only one who thinks that pride month should be turned into veterans month?

As a Christian who has to fight against my own Same-Sex Attraction, June is the worst month of the year. It’s heartbreaking seeing people, especially children, embrace what God has called detestable.
Addendum: the victory is already won and the old me is dead- I’m born again in Jesus Christ and cannot abide in sin. Through His strength I can face temptation and come out victorious.

At my school we had pride day and in protest like half the kids at my school wore all black, it was great seeing half of my class just wearing black while 2% of people were wearing pride things.

Let kids be kids! The biggest problem in the society is the lack of fear of God. Everyone is fed on this idea by the current culture that you and your feelings are all that matters. Keep yourself happy.
The enemy has always targeted the children - whether it is the canaanites offering up to molech or people exposing them to pride. Remember, God detests the proud.

To me I have a love hate relationship with this month I hate it because of the perversion that people have made this month into but I love it because it reminds me of the real meaning of the rainbow.

And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

A rainbow is a symbol of life because it is a promise of life that life will continue and not a symbol of pride it is wonderful.

"You can't love somebody if you can't be truthful with them" LET'S FREAKING That right there is so lost in so many places not just with this modern ideology, but also in the church. The thought that you have to agree with people to love them literally causes families and churches to split. It's dreadful.

I was exposed to lustful imagery and homosexual thoughts and ideas as early as 7, and when I got access to the internet at 12, people would send me homosexual ‘material’. I lived 5 years of my life as a homosexual and broke my mother’s heart. You’re right, these people are just looking for solace, but in the wrong place. I think of my own porn addiction - I watch it because I’ve never had friends or a loving partner - but I’m in the same boat as these people.

We all need the humility to appreciate these people as images of God whilst (as the Commination declares) acknowledging that we too are sinners and have a most just judgement above our heads. I pray for everyone who struggles with same sex desires, with porn, with pride and with anger. God is slow to anger, quick to mercy, and loves His elect children unconditionally 🙏

What hurts me the most is seeing kids become psychologically damaged from all of this and the parents likening that. I pray that God have mercy on all these people and show them reality.
