In this video I test Createx Wicked Colors for airbrushing on plastic kits. They require a little bit of prep but nothing out of the ordinary. They have deep pigments and are very durable as you'll see at the end of the video.

I highly recommend these paints as they're also inexpensive .

To purchase them please use the affiliate link below as you wont find a better price for these great paints.

Glad to see you reviewing these, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners. Very passionate about airbrushing in general and down to earth. They are a family owned biz in CT, good to see you keeping it NE local man!

My husband mixed Createx silver, with a little Createx Peruvian lavender irid, and was able to copy the 1965 Chevrolet Impala factory color perfectly!
Even the Chevy garage body and paint department, couldn't tell the difference!
These additives are magic!

A breath of fresh air for a manufacturer to provide such detailed info for their product line. Fun fact: I live in the town where Createx is based.

I just watched a Creatix video before this one and I could've swore the Rep from Creatix said their go to standard reducer was 4011

Since this video was made, Createx has changed their "Go To" reducer from 4012 to 4011 for use in all Creates and AutoBorn paints. Just a short time ago, Createx has release a new 4021 reducer that is now their recommended reducer and is supposed to increase the flow and reduce tip dry. 4021 contains (from their SDS sheet) 1-methoxy-2-propanol (CAS # 107-98-2) <27.50%

Just came across your channel as I have just purchased my first set of paints and airbrush for fishing lure painting. Great info and learned a lot… really wish I had found you first! Purchased Wicked paints.

I’m a rookie when it comes to Createx. I want to spray a 1/25th scale truck with Createx Pearl blue. Would you spray the blue directly over black primer or black primer, black opaque, than the blue Pearl? Thanks

Can you please put a link for their instructions. I’ve been on their website I cannot find that sheet you have.

I think I need to add that urethane? I just use the wicked with 4012 but afraid to mask over.

Since the Wicked airbrush lineup is water-based, can they be thinned with any acrylic thinner? Or does it have to be with theirs?
