I grew up making Scale Military Models in the 70's ... we built Models with none of the kit you see today ... it was literally Glue and Paint - decals were pushed about with a soft toothpick and the tip of your finger. It's great to build up a tool kit but people would be amazed at how much you can get done with little to nothing also. I say this with the take away that I hope people don't see having gear as a barrier to just getting started on the Hobby - you can do a lot with next to nothing. Having the right tools for the job however makes light work, precise work and really NICE work ... easier!

Having YoTube makes a big difference
Like many, I started building scale models and sculpting clay with almost no tools and no information. Getting into these things now, with a bit of spare coin and access to these YouTube videos, makes every thing easier and quickens the learning pace, as well as the spending pace. :)
Whilst searching for my fifty litre air tank I found a dozen model planes in a storage closet, WWII era that are mostly unfinished and and not painted. Christmas in August. a chance to practice with the air brush while having to buy only new paint. Having access to people such as yourself makes the learning process much easier

I've been building models most of my life but always enjoy watching these types of videos because there is always something to learn. So glad I watched this as I have been buying the Tamiya pointed cotton swabs for years not knowing you could literally buy thousands of them for the same price as 1 pack of Tamiya! You'll save me a fortune!

This is a great video. It exposes people to a whole range of tools and accessories for modeling, that you wouldn’t necessarily know they exist. Most people new to the hobby only know 3 things. Glue, xacto, and maybe nippers.

I guess you are a kind person. This video is very good information for beginners. PS. You guys gotta have many super fine brushes with cheap or middle prices, that is better than have few expensive super fine brushes, just on my opinion.
