Jesus came to me when I was high. I was not a believer and I had this undeniable experience and came to believe in Him. I consume a moderate amount, I rarely smoke but I do eat it and not to get high but to feel closer to God. I feel so much more connected, reverent and truly grateful when I'm a little high, I find so many more ways to express my gratitude and to pray, and I get so much clarity too on the meanings of the scriptures and how I can apply them to my life. Since my conversion by the way I've had no alcohol nor the other drugs that I would occasionally have, but moderate cannabis use feels aligned.

I am a Christian and a marijuana user. I agree. I use for depression and anxiety. I no longer have to be on medications that impare me to the point of sedation. What does the Bible have to say about using opiates and pain killers because thoes are mind altering as well. Caffeine is a stimulant, tobacco also.So anyone that drinks coffee is also altering thier mind. Let's not be biased.

Weed doesn’t detach you from the world. I have very spiritual times and have improved my relationship through smoking. You’ve obviously never smoked or been around someone high so you really shouldn’t be preaching about this.

Marijuana loses most of its intoxicating effects over time like any medication. That is why recreational users have to take abstinence brakes to let the intoxicating effects come back. There are also different strains for different things. Like a good Sativa is like a good cup of coffee without the jitters, and you don't get tired or lethargic. I gave up Dextroamphetamine and Clonazepam for marijuana.

I say this in love. This gentlemen doesn’t fully understand cannabis. If someone is smoking weed to escape they are abusing the plant. I feel his idea of marijuana is based off of negative stereotypes and Hollywood. People generally smoke to relax and enjoy the feeling. But it doesnt replace God. Marijuana has many medicinal benefits. Even Luke was a doctor. You can have a relationship with God and still take medicines. No one should be getting drunk on alcohol, the same goes for cannabis.

You can get marijuana that has little THC. And it won’t even come close to getting you “high” or “intoxicated”
And marijuana does save lives, like it has saved mine. I personally don’t smoke it anymore but it helped me get through extreme amounts of anxiety ( I have an anxiety disorder) now I’m living for Jesus like never before, renewing my mind daily. #justkeepgoing

Just put the weed down guys, you know in your heart its not what God want. Just go ahead and roll up, before you smoke, bow your head close your eyes and pray to God, while your praying think about Job ! Think your struggling, what about job, he had it rough and was still keeping it together for God. It sure did help me put it down I can tell you that much. Do I think about it YES, but pleasing God is better, don’t let that flesh man get the better of you, strengthen yourself spiritually with the word, try to read the whole Bible to understand God. When you see How much he really Loves us you won’t want to throw God to the side for a high that won’t last, when it’s over if your really for Christ you will feel so low and guilty, maybe you made a promise to God, I won’t do it again God, then there you go Breaking your promise. Be strong in the Lord ! He will see you through. He did it for me and I did that junk at least 4 to 5 times a day ! Until one day I became strong in the Lord, also the fear of God settled in and I don’t want to Burn in hell cause I wanted to do it my way. Not me Lord, YOU ! The Bible also say we are to be SOBER minded. If God didn't want marijuana to be around he wouldn't have put it here. Alcohol meth crack and all that is man made. Now ask yourself where does marijuana come from...a seed can not be made by man. Every seed god has put here. That's just what I believe.

i had issues with organized religion but Jesus had revealed Himself to me to the point that i knew He is real . at the time i was still smoking pot and my sister had given me a bible . I would smoke and read the bible for hours every night . one night i was smoking and reading as usual and God spoke to me it wasnt audible as i didnt hear Him but He forced His thought into my mind . I knew it wanst my thought as 1 i would have never thought this and 2 it was third person and i never talk like that . the thought was this is not what I have for you . i was like wait what ? Again this is not what I have for you . i put it down and have not touched it since . this was like 13 years ago . i now know why He didnt want me smoking . Since i stopped smoking God has revealed things in His word that i never would have seen if i was high . The bible says to be of sober mind . being high is not sober . it also says to study the bible not to read it . rightly dividing the word of truth . i think its proverbs 25 :2 that says it is the glory of God to conceal a matter but the glory of Kings to search out a matter . in Isa he says precept upon precept line upon line here a little there a little . have you ever read the parable of talents ? most say it is about money but i say it is a bout the Gospel of Jesus . Here is why .24 “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. 25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’

26 “But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, 27 why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.’


why would He call him wicked and lazy if it were about money and why is he throw into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth if it were about money ? See it said He reaped where He had not sown . He is talking about reaping and sowing seed . remember it is a parable more than one meaning . we are told to spread the Gospel to all of the world . we are told to study the word . if you look at mat 7 :21 not all who say Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of the Father in heaven will . so what is the will of the Father ? John 6 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

So being high i would have never saw the truth that He wanted to reveal to be by the spirit . When you are not of sober mind you cant think 100 % clearly and remember things as you would if you were not stoned, man ! So put down the bong and pic up His word and get to work ! Marijuana is literally the biblical equivalent to the word "medicine" as it can be wine, vinegar, HERBS, etc.
Ecclesiasticus 38:4 KJV: The Lord hath created medicines out of the earth; and he that is wise will not abhor them.

I gave it up and he gave 2 dreams later on in my life and now there’s no demons that are in me, and get this no tolerance that means there’s a spirit behind tolerance
Just take this advice trust it’s all scripture I gave you scripture u can’t go against that and ask the Holy Ghost to prove if it’s true the word of the Lord is tried it says that in the Bible doesn’t it. It's not God's will for your life, pastor.

Church should be praying for forgiveness, followed by praying for thanks, followed by scripture reading, followed by time for reflection and prayer, and end with a psalm sung by everyone.

We don't really care what you think pastor, because what You "think" is not written in the Bible.

Stop making unnecessary rules.

To everyone else, followers of Christ will never judge you. Each of us have two responsibilities while on this Earth...to love and to forgive as Jesus did while he was on this Earth.

We cannot and will not obey the Ten Commandments. That endeavor is humanly impossible. Anyone here on Earth that tells you it is a possibility is breaking multiple commandments themselves.

Remember, while nailed to the cross Jesus promised the Kingdom of Heaven to a sinner.

I will not judge. I will quietly pray.
