These clips are always extremely subjective, but theres no doubt that a match between these two would be epic to watch.
I hope they bring them back and make them go against each other. Even without the Phoenix Force, Jean is still very dangerous. Its just that she hardly ever goes all out and sort of prefers to avoid the fight. I think thats something that holds her back from using all her abilities. When Phoenix possessed her, she let go of her pacifist side and showed her true potential. Jean even admitted to liking experiencing the emotions that allowed her to not care and just go all out with her powers.
When Jean defeated Cassandra and gave her the sense of empathy, she thought it would make her feel guilt and therefore not act with ill will towards others, but Cassandra didnt care and just continued to be evil.
So i think a fight between these two would come down to empathy, ethics, morality and simply who is willing to care or not care, though Jean would have an enormous advantage of having the Phoenix Force on her side. Thats if it doesnt decide to bond with Cassandra, lol. The Phoenix has bonded with other powerful psychics, but it tends to stay with Jean.
